A two-brother crew in West Melbourne that other contractors call when the finish work has to be right.
Charles and Danny are brothers. Between them they have 15 years of hands-on remodeling experience and around 500+ homes behind them, and in April 2025 they stopped building someone else's reputation and put their own name on the work.
For years the phone rang the same way it does now: a referral from a neighbor, or a call from another contractor who needed the tile, trim or floors done properly on a job they had already sold. That is a specific kind of trust. A contractor putting you on their own project is betting their reputation on your cuts.
So J&D was never built to be the biggest crew in Brevard County. It was built to be the one you call when the last guy left gaps at the corners. We install floors, rebuild bathrooms, run baseboard and casing, paint, and hang doors and windows. We do not do plumbing and we do not do electrical, and we say so before you ask, because pretending otherwise is how projects fall apart.

The thing customers mention most is not a tool or a technique. It is the conversation before the work starts. Most people planning a remodel do not know whether to buy vinyl plank or laminate, or which tile survives a Florida bathroom, and most contractors are happy to let them guess and then charge for the fix.
We walk you through that decision, for free, before you spend anything. And when you buy the material we specify, we stand behind it. That is a promise we can only make because we are careful about what we put our name on.
